The perfect family outing

Golf is no longer just an escape for dads on the weekends. In 2018, the Genesis Open is even more family friendly than ever before. With new activities for kids of all ages, and free tickets for youth 15 years old and younger, the Genesis Open is the perfect weekend destination for everyone in the family.

TGR Learning Lab
Swing by the TGR Learning Lab, an interactive zone for young golf fans on course. The tent will host a photo booth plus five hands-on STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) activities, including a Buoyancy Challenge and a Science of Golf station. Discover if your STEM game is on par at this free, family-friendly experience, suggested for kids ages 10-16.

Youth ticket policy
For golf fans 15 years old and younger, the Genesis Open offers complimentary grounds tickets. The complimentary youth tickets are available for pick up at the Genesis Open box office, located at the Main Entrance, when accompanied by a ticketed adult. For high school and college students, discounted tickets are available for purchase with a valid school ID.

Youth viewing zones
Experiencing golf up close and personal is important for young golf fans. The Genesis Open offers three youth designated viewing zones located at 8 green, 10 green and 14 green. These areas will provide special access for young fans to enjoy an unobstructed viewing experience directly next to the green.

Youth clinic
On Saturday, February 17, at 1 p.m., the Genesis Open will host a golf exhibition for young fans. The free demonstration takes place on the driving range and features an exhibition by a PGA TOUR golfer. This clinic is open to all youth in attendance and will inspire golfers of all ages.
